Agnès Buzyn, Minister for Solidarity and Health, and Bruno Le Maire, Minister for Finance and the Economy, have announced that the specific absorption rate (SAR) of all radio-electric devices intended for use near the human body (telephones, tablets, certain connected watches, etc.) must now be indicated. Previously in France it was only mandatory to display the SAR for mobile telephones.
